They were asked and said no, only complete new unit. Seems a waste of money to not use the axle! That’s a cousins made coil you can buy the raw coil thread it in and cut it to length no problem. Give them a ring.
How wide a piece of coil do you need , and what diameter is it ,got 3 pieces ,cover 4.5 m one wider bit and two smaller ,can measure in morningThey were asked and said no, only complete new unit. Seems a waste of money to not use the axle!
That’s a shame.i had a coil made by them when I purchased a v form 8/9 years ago.i met the chap who made it at a factory open day and he said they had made none since. They were asked and said no, only complete new unit. Seems a waste of money to not use the axle!
There are only 3 machines in the country that can make the raw coil flexicoils, cousins and grangewoods (Blench). cousins do there's slightly differently to flexicoil in that they well the supports to the axle tube. the original flexicoils which were manufactured in Canada were done like that. When they started manufacturing them in the UK they weld them to the axle at the ends but them the intermediates are welded to a sleeve that slides over the axle, which in time wears away the axle tube and they breakThat’s a shame.i had a coil made by them when I purchased a v form 8/9 years ago.i met the chap who made it at a factory open day and he said they had made none since.
