Foliar urea

My spring wheat sowed end of march is fairly decent crop but looks a little less green than it should. Would like to put 125kg/ha of Can but have no rowcrops for spreader tractor. But have for the sprayer. Would foliar spray of melted urea help. Am only talking about 10 ha. It will be going for feed so yield is all I want. Have to put on a fungicide anyway. Don't have streamers only jets.

What growth stage is it at? If the ears have emerged then you're only buying protein now. If it's not at that stage & you have rain forecast then just get the CAN on ASAP. It might make you more than the lost crop run over unless you have Terra tyres and 12m tramlines. What is the following crop going to be? Something that can mop up unused N would be good.

I bit the bullet and bought fert nozzles which will arrive tomorrow. So melted urea today for the first time and plan to put on 30kg/ha. Have rainy week ahead. No head emerged yet probably 2 weeks away
