Ford 8340 Transmisson pressure light .

The hydraulic pressure light, the one above the hare symbol is after coming on along with a beeping alert .
Have changed all the filters but no avail
The book says the symbol represents steering port , trans pressure . .
A pressure test of the packs indicates the pressure is within its range .
Any ideas on how to get the light out and the beeping to stop ?? As its the spraying tractor the beeping is frying my head . Other than that its driving perfect . @bobk ,@Two Tone @Nearly .

Mine done it at low revs so I adjusted the idle up to 900 revs, and it's OK now

Mine did that years ago , unplugged it . been fine since .

Does it come on when the oil is hot? If it does it’s possible to be a worn pump.

When mine did it, it turned out to be the pressure switch that was faulty, esp when hot.

Could be the Pto oil feed pipe o ring

Many Thanks for replies , will hit for Armstrongs after and get a new pressure switch and pto o ring and see how it goes from there .
Shouldnt be to expensive to sort one of the upsides of these days older girls !! I dont think its the pump as she spent a few days on the combi and was fine .
Also drilled maize last week with her without any lift problems and the trailed sprayer shouldnt strain her . There is a slight oil leak alright around the housing so @Gruffalo could be right about the o ring
Will report on how we get on .

Yes changed the switch and it cured the problem .
Same problem currently on Ts 100 A so will do the same .

 

[Two Tone]

My Transmission pressure warning light glows dimly for much of the time.
It will fully illuminate when the Ignition is switched on before starting the engine.

Any idea, or is the pressure sensor fooked?
