Andy is that a hydrocut saw
Im actually not sure. We have had it a long time, first mounted to a 7810 and then modified by Moffett to fit the 7840.

Most people say rare though as its right hand cut, Moffett's own saws are typically left hand cut.

I could be tempted to sell up if anyone was interested. Its unlikely that I'll be hooking it back on anytime soon.

Bit of a long shot but has anyone ever came across a 7840 sle reg number s98kty? Was my old tractor at work until it got stolen about 16 years ago? No doubt it'll have been put in a container and away on a boat tour but just never know!

Just to up date where we are at now.
Drop arms replaced as they were seized solid.
Stickers ordered from Lotus Designs NI and fitted by our local signwriter Neil Wilkinson at the same time as he put our business logo on. Painting pretty much finished bar a few wee chassis touch ups.

Please excuse the over spray on the tyres, the painter at that time wasn't too concerned about taping off!
Still to be done:
Refit the grab bar and on RHS
Mirrors
Sort the lights as some of the bulb holders are corroded beyond repair
Source and fit nose cone badge
Treat rust on doors/cab frame before it takes hold properly.
Refit windscreen

Still a couple of oil leaks to sort but this will be a work in progress as we ease it back into working life.

NH badge available from NH dealers, about £12. Proper way to fix is to take front piece off and fit clips into pegs to hold badge on. If you use a sealant any diesel spill will start to dissolve it.
The glue version of expanding foam should work well though, not soluble.

Thanks, I'm pretty sure I have one somewhere but good to know that they aren't too dear new.
The nose cone was rightly battered due to falling branches over the years so a local body shop smoothed, filled and primer'd it for us, but in doing so, removed the holes for the badge to be fixed on by.

Alright Andy! Looking good sir, you've been spending too much time in the Members Cars section on RMS..!
Hey Rob, thought that was yourself. Aye need to get away from the cars and back to the tractors. Getting time is always an issue.

Very tidy Andy! Who did the painting?
We did it ourselves, that is to say one of my staff members who's father was a professional painter painted all the blue and black bits.
The wheels where shot blasted and painted by a couple of friends.
Realistically the paint work isn't going to win any awards but I have to keep telling myself that this will never be a concourse restoration, this tractor has already spent a couple of days on the slurry pump so that has to be reflected in the tidy up spend.

Chances are I'll have it at the Big 100 show at nuttscorner in April if you are going.

No problem, If you don't see me on the day get me on FB, I cant guarantee that my guy would be up for painting someone else's tractor but I'd say his brother could be interested in helping you out.
