The 7840 at work after it’s makeover, was a bit rushed at the end and not quite finished due to harvest being brought forward 3 weeks. Had to reuse its damaged nose cone after buying a ebay special and finding out it’s for a 4 cylinder :(.
Here’s it last night finished with the wheel paint hardly dry.

And here’s it at work today

I think it must be, it’s definitely different to the weights as you said. The weights are mine and just on loan whilst the tractor is on the brush to improve the steering. The paint was from Agriline supplied by @Farmergrum .

Mines not as clean but she did hit another big number today.

Just run in I reckon. She's my favourite tractor. Think I will give her a wee tidy up in the summer.

This one had 16500 on the clock when this pic was taken some 9 years ago... I sold it on shortly after so it would be interesting to know how many hours it has now..

I prefer the SL versions. They seem to stand up well and are relatively easy and cheap to fix compared to the SLE. Our older one is on about 15300hrs but its failing a bit now, it doesnt have the go it used to.

Get some wheel nut indicators or the ones that lock two nuts together. They can't come loose then. I picked a set up off eBay after I had a wheel come slack.

Slight mishap yesterday, things have been busy and checking the wheel nuts has been overlooked. Lucky no one was hurt and fortunately not a huge amount of damage, it’s back on the go again tonight.

Seen it happen before after a paint up.
Mate ruined a rear wheel that came loose and ovaled the bolt holes.
They seem to settle in for a few days no matter how tight you make them.
