Download PDF Tailoring nitrogen rates to optimise yield from modern spring barley varieties and hit the quality required by end users can be tricky. A three-year research project offers fresh insights and will help reshape RB209 recommendations, as CPM discovers Our work shows there is potentially some scope to reduce rates from the current RB209 without compromising yield.
