Have put 12 tons of hot wet barley from the hot spot through the Almet drier and into the radial cooling bins. Seems alright now. Down to below 15%, cooled and smell gone.
Didn’t detect the hot spot with the temp probe. Detected it with my nose, pin pointed it with my hands. It was very localised in a heap of 150 tonnes. What a weekend.
