silk hanky?A lightweight tissue is a better indicator of airflow than a decent grade of paper, but it depends on what you are trying to do. If the entire bulk is wet (17%+) then all the ducts should be open. If you are chasing the last wet spot out of the heap then a higher back pressure is necessary to strip the moisture from that spot - think of how the wind erodes a sand dune and you get the idea.
But... low airflow from more ducts open risks the moisture condensing higher up the heap, sealing it. You just need to monitor the progress, as per the Grain Storage Guide I linked earlier and for good record keeping for RT.
