Need a new grain spear? Any suggestions please. Not sinar though as that’s what we are getting rid of because the tip keeps breaking and the repair costs are ridiculous.

Yes as long as you have a known value sample to calibrate it against

Evening, does it give you instant readings? Have a spaldings probe but you have to wait a minute or so for probe to settle for a reading. Im just using it too monitor tipped loads of spring barley going for malting but can take a while!

Meat thermometer from one of the supermarkets,calibrate with boiling water or other end of spectrum water just forming ice,middle calibration under the tongue (you may also find you have covid feeling unwell)
