I've used it to sell Beans, Linseed, Wheat and Barley. With the bidding system there can be quite large variations in the offers which highlights to me thats its worth doing. Always been paid despite often selling to merchants I havent sold before, you can now pay insurance for non payment now as well.

Definetly worth a try imo.

So,,,,,,,,, if there's a problem with a load????
We spend time building relations with merchants and if there's a problem yes it gets sorted at a cost but with the cost of haulage now I'd hate to think of a load of barley heading back home after a day out sight seeing 🙄

We use them a bit. Not had any problems. I wander how they make enough money to keep going. you can see what they sold everyday and some times it’s only 3 or 4 loads. Can’t be taking more than a couple of £ a ton out of it.

On Thursday 26th September, we’re holding a webinar for farmers to go through the guidance, actions and detail for the expanded Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) offer. This was planned for end of May, but had to be delayed due to the general election. We apologise about that.

Farming and Countryside Programme Director, Janet Hughes will be joined by policy leads working on SFI, and colleagues from the Rural Payment Agency and Catchment Sensitive Farming.

This webinar will be...
