That’s what I was trying to avoid ....Now Then..
You'll need a switch and a solenoid valve I guess. Have a look on JDparts..
Yeah that was sort of my plan t into the third service and put a tap in the line to turn of when using the grab. You can look on John Deere parts to get an idea of what’s needed and then get similar on line if it’s jd prices your trying to avoid. A switch will be a couple of quid but won’t match the rest in the cab if not genuine and the solenoid would be fairly standard. The pins work on a system the same as third service, in fact on my mx I think it diverts crowd to third service as normal and then diverts the diversion to the pins hence you need a lock out switch. The basic wiring will be simple enough.
That would work ok I would have thought, you could even do away with the tap and instead of a t you could just have a couple push fit ends on short hoses to the rams and disconnect once the grab is on.Yeah that was sort of my plan t into the third service and put a tap in the line to turn of when using the grab.
A tap is much easier push fit always leak after a whileThat would work ok I would have thought, you could even do away with the tap and instead of a t you could just have a couple push fit ends on short hoses to the rams and disconnect once the grab is on.
Isn’t that defeating the object tho?I thought they do it so you have to press 2 buttons simultaneously so as not to unlock by mistake. That would work ok I would have thought, you could even do away with the tap and instead of a t you could just have a couple push fit ends on short hoses to the rams and disconnect once the grab is on.
