The job of the media is to report the news as and when it occurs.
You can be certain that this piece of news was known to a few well before this week, do you believe that we should be like continental Europe where their politicians, have been able to hide behind a cloak of cosy anonymity thanks to privacy laws?
Where the leaders can tell us how to lead our lives while they live the high life.
perhaps you think we should live as in Russia where the kleptocrats who rule are very [popular thanks to having total control of the media. Note how that popularity slipped very badly when Navalny shared his footage of Putins palace on the Black Sea to the populace. Never mind that was all covered up very quickly and Putin can continue with his iron grip.

I dont like the lifestyle that Boris leads, but at least we were fully aware and the electorate voted for him knowing full well that he had a Wife , 5 children with her, several elsewhere and a mistress to boot.
However Matt has not only betrayed his family, he has wilfully been conducting an affair when it would have been illegal under the draconian rules, he himself, had a hand in imposing.
Further he had forced out one of his chief advisors, who had committed an identical sin.
Then comes the question of appointing this lady to a public office, not even Boris put his mistress on the public payroll, paid by you and I !

Well said. But didn't Billy Bunter give so London cash to that Yankee flusee he was a knocking off (allegedly?)

We have the highest vaccination rate in Europe. He done the job required. How he conducts his personal life is his business but to dismiss him now on grounds basically of religious hocus pocus would make no sense if you interested in saving as many lives as you can.

You digging a big hole old fella, I will pop up to mid Lincolnshire in the morning with a long ladder to help you get out. You will probably find coal before you stop digging!

Don't kid yourself the vaccination success had sod all to do with useless Hancock or Bozo, it's down to the unsung heroes behind the scenes, not the posturing prats we get to see!!

If you believe that you really do miss the point Dr W.

The preacher has not complied with his sermon. He has succumbed to the flesh, so to speak.

I can picture now those two lasses surrounded by Derbyshire Police for the temerity of driving to go for a walk at a local reservoir. The drones deployed by Derbyshire Police. Me parked in a layby near Spilsby last April having a Police car pull up and being questioned why I was there and being told to go home.

Hancock is just another supercilious Tory. When he next stands in front of the Downing Street lectern and tells you what the rules are and what you can

I'm not far from Spilsby, so its you is it?

Talking of Injections, The local press in Lincolnshire has been showing JVT(Professor Jonathan Van Tam) Injecting his beloved Boston United Players. Talk about down to the Coal Face! Good on him.
WB

JVT has been doing regular stints at grantham and Boston vaccination centres. Back in January in the very early days when my wife and daughter were early volunteers at grantham meres he would come in to help after coming back up from London on the train. And he made comments about the system in place and took those comments back to London.

Not condoning or complaining, couldn't give a feck.

Why has it taken 6/7 weeks for something filmed from an adjacent building to become public, don't think Sun could keep a lid on it all this time.
filmed from a neighbouring building site?
Some of it was filmed in a lift and very possibly directly in his office

I was up in North Lincs late last April at height of lockdown one and driving home about 9pm, so just dark, pulled into the layby next to Saul's farm - the south end of Spilsby - having just got some chips when a Police car crept up alongside me - I say crept as had turned of lights. Wound down windows. Quizzed me what I was doing. I replied 'eating chips' Further quizzed me what I was doing there - I explained had been up to North Lincs for work. Further quizzed me what I did, who I worked for, why I was there, why I had stopped. Did I understand the rules. And then told me to get on my way - I said will do once finished my chips, but the younger of the two officers in the car was not having that and commanded me to move on. Then followed me for about 10 miles down past Stickney. What a bizzare time and a bizarre thing to do. Hey ho.

I’ve welcomed the increased police presence. Reassuring. If they turn over a few more nighttime operators it’s no bad thing. Plenty about up to no good. Drugs, flytippers, casing the joint. Move em on.

Just offering an alternative view point. I am heartily sick of trial by media and self righteous hypocritical moral indignation of the mob.
He has a wife and three kids. We live in the 21st century there is no stigma today with divorce so if you don’t fancy your wife anymore because she’s put on a few pounds or she’s a bit surbuban when you’re having dinner with Joe Biden or Mrs Merkel you can get rid of her and move on. This is deceitful he wants his cake and he wants to eat it as well. Obviously when the country is led by a philanderer with many ex wives ,girlfriends and barsteward children he thinks it’s OK but it isn’t. If he does this to his wife someone who should be his closest friend it shows he won’t be caring much about the country.

If my wife had a snog with her boss it wouldn’t really bother me TBH. I have got bigger problems, like a cracked flywheel. That really is a show stopper. I don’t control my wife. I don’t keep her as something like my own personal property.
