Have they never thought of using forage wagons? Wagons and elevators to fill the barns must be easier (and less weather reliant)?

Aren't there some areas in Switzerland were a lot of hay is barn dried as the farmers can't feed silage as the milk is for cheese

Coolmore stud, Some of the horses are worth more than my farm, a bit of labour is peanuts to them.
