Homade hydraulic toplink

it seems I ask more questions than I answer on here, but do many people make their own hydraulic top links? Will only be used on a cat 2 90hp tractor so not that big, but might be used for levelling but no ploughing.
Any ideas?

I can't imagine they do.
Hyd top links range in various guises from the high quality expensive ones to the cheap and cheerful sparex/genfit ones.
I'd imagine a ram and two eyelets would cost more than a cheap hyd toplink the way things are these days.
Did ya price one??

Thanks. Yeah have priced up a new one. Was around 500nzd for a new one (cheapest I could find). Have not priced up a locally made one yet.

That’s what I was thinking. Use an old ram kicking around, add swivel ends and some hoses and should be good to go. Will post pics when it happens, time to source a cylinder.

I wish there were cheaper products like that over here. All we get is low demand, so people charge what they like. That is over 300nzd, which isn’t a bad deal but there is no availability in nz

I'll see if there's still a sticker on mine, I should know what brand it is but I do not
