This 5yr old drill which is 4m wide is £70k. What on earth did it cost new? Has it lost nothing in depreciation?

Can't tell how many tanks it's got but a 3 tank machine was 100k last year

Yes that's a triple hopper unit would suggest they asking what it cost new roughly which when a new one is now possibly 115K and if its done low hectares and is in good nick is pretty much what anyone would ask but as we all know it doesn't mean they'll get it.

paid less than that for a 12m, 4yrs ago now i think - just shows how quickly machinery prices have inflated

Something to be said for horsch kit is that it really does hold its value well (at the moment at least) along with fendt tractors.

However farming doesn't really stack up buying a 4m drill at £70k with margins where they are... and that's a 5yr old bit of kit!
