Debating looking at a Horsch Co that's done quite a bit of work by the looks of the pictures, other than frame cracks anything else that would be costly or time absorbing to repair to look out for ?

Slack in the legs is everything with an old CO drill unless it is a very late one with multi-grip/sprinter type legs.
Very expensive to put right and still nowhere near as good for penetration as the multi-grip and I don’t think you can convert without some serious mods.

Personally I’d be looking for an older sprinter, think they’ve been about since 2004/05 so should be a few out there.

Thanks, it did look a bit like that from the pictures, the one that's been stretched to 13.5m. I was told it was a project drill :nailbiting: :nailbiting:

Have you seen this andy

Wheel bearings and nylon bushes, tyres that transport the drill, if it’s a co4 where the lift ram at the back pushes down on the beam, it can bend. Old style control box was know for its problems if possible fine one with a muller box

Were you not getting a Weaving GD drill or will this be a second drill
Second drill, selling the Patriot to resist the temptation to use it, but a tine would be useful if I need a bit more movement. ha d consisered a sabre tineto go on the back of the GD cart, but out of my league currently price wise
