Somthing to do with motor forgetting its speed range was fine after calibrating it again

Been running our fan at 2850 drilling wheat at 200kg at 13kph.

How did you get it that low? If i reduce it too low on the tractor it almost stops the fan.

You really ought to be able to get the fan down to about 2000rpm, that’s all you’d want if drilling rape or something else small and light.

On a massey 7720. Just set the oil flow on the spool valve to 20% at 25% fan is around 3700.

We are using the correct roller for wheat, the seed rate is 210kg/ha and forward speed has been anywhere from 6kph to 12kph, nearer 6kph when it starts going wrong although speed seems to make little difference. Fan speed is around 3200 to 3300. No blockages as have emptied the drill twice to check. I'm not drilling but told that the amperes are between 4 and 7? Will check the bearings this morning and then see if I can find a loose connection. Thankyou

Which roller you use,250cc or 320cc?
If 320,separate roller and check surfaces if there is any marks of seizures. Just remembered couple cases where parts of roller has been adjusted too tight together with shim washers and roller warmed when machine running and became tight to turn,until it cooled down again.
You wrote that problem is in motor 1,double hopper machine?
