How best to remove stickers on cab windows

As above,dam thing is in my line of sight when driving,, it's like steering an old Bedford TK with head tilted to one side, I've tried picking it off with a Stanley knife,but it is in hundreds of different pieces, would a heat gun be safe to use on a windscreen?,I don't want the windscreen to also end up in pieces...... although that would get rid of the sticker
ps it's a "grass men" one

Hairdryer should melt it ,heat gun might be abit savage then clean the glue of with nail varnish remover

A new blade and slide it under them. RS also make a good sticker solvent removal aerosol.

Even if it wasn’t in your line of site a grassmen sticker should be removed just for being embarrassing

our sign writers gave me a bottle of sticker removal liquid for a similar issue - ( HG remover ) Apply wipe away .

Acetone or Methyl Ethyl Ketone are good solvents for adhesive removal, make sure area is well ventilated.

As said, Acetone takes the glue off in one wipe and removes any paint rubs on car bodywork.

Works well on tinwork. I tried it on glass once (headlight diverters for driving in France) and the sticker was less of a pain than the WD-40 residue!

Surely you need a slidehammer as the sticker has to come off, not go in.

Don't know if you can find it easily in the UK but eucalyptus oil is the best thing for dissolving adhesive residue that I've found yet

Also good in the ear for earache, on the pillow when you have a head cold etc

Warm water. Hot, but not too hot.

Acetone will remove car paint and dissolve plastic.

I recently removed the raised lettering from the bonnet of a Kubota ride on lawn mower. The new bonnet cost £400 to I was careful. Boiling water stained the plastic (of the broken bonnet) and might shatter glass but hottish water did a good job with WD40 for clean up of any glue. The lettering was reused using an adhesive that comes in a sheet of backing. Really essy to use. See Google and Youtube for more.

Paint stripper gel..applied with a paint brush then when Bubbled scrape with a hard plastic scraper

One of these and methylated spirits to sort out any residual glue
