Our NFU renewal is up about 15%. Broker quote was going to be another 20% higher.
Interestingly AIG apparently aren't keen on straw fired biomass boilers and wouldn't price the broker!

Our NFU premium went up by over 10% last year, I protested as we had not claimed and it was reduced to previous years payment. A week before the payment was due I queried whether we could claim for a damaged sewage pipe and they put the premium back up by 10% before any work had been done.

Farming and Countryside Programme Director, Janet Hughes will be joined by policy leads working on SFI, and colleagues from the Rural Payment Agency and Catchment Sensitive Farming.
