Livestock Farmer
Hello and thank you @holwellcourtfarm
I think I am considered to be a "first generation farmer" as I am not from a farming background... But got into the industry through YF, studied agriculture at uni and now work in marketing for an ag tech company in Suffolk. How long have you been a member?
Thanks for the heads up, I'll watch out for @davieh3350
Best, Rachel.
Not quite 2 years but I think I've jumped in with both feet.

Watch out for "Off Topic" - it can get a bit hairy in there sometimes. Oh, and give the Brexit forums a wide berth unless you enjoy pointless arguments.

You can take the word 'hairy' either metaphorically or literally, both could be true... You mean we have been wasting our time on the Brexit threads? If only I'd known :banghead:.

Lol know im not moody or tight fisted and I enjoy a good laugh. I don't farm or work on a farm im just a keen country man hoping someone might take pity on me lol. Or give me a chance to enjoy a bit of crop protection and also to gain more knowledge of plants and grains and to learn more about what goes on on a farm

Haha yes i am but i also will help with other bits i.e crows and general vermin aswell as predator control and if im needed fence repairs and other things that i could help with. As much as i like shooting and putting what i get on a table there is more to the countryside i enjoy sometimes just going sitting in a hidden area and watching the countryside and its wildlife i also enjoy working and training my labradors aswell. But not just here for a opportunity but also to learn things and understand how and why certain things are done
