Is a Fendt 720 the same as a 724?

Are they the same mechanically with different software to produce the different amounts of power? If so could you buy a 720 and chip/map it to produce the same hp as a 724?

No they are different , Front axle , Gearbox,Plus a few other things as well . Buy the size of tractor you need if you remap a Fendt then a Fendt dealership can not put there laptop on it if it has a problem

Yes the dealer can! They will remove the map though

I might be wrong but 718 to 724 same. Same box same axel same back end. Look on website all the same I believe.
Front axles are different with there rating 716 to 720 are the same 722 & 724 are the same , varios are all different , we have a 720 & 724 in the yard & looking at them you can see they are not the same

So u telling me that the fendt website has wrong information? Clearly says ml180 box in all from 718 to 724. Not sure on front axel but they sure look the same.
