Not me.... honest šŸ˜…

But we did cut brakes yesterday in the hope of swaling today or tomorrow but the wind is too strong.

Later next week looks better..... just need to get the NT enthusiastic šŸ™„šŸ¤”šŸ¤¦ā€ā™‚ļøšŸ¤¦ā€ā™‚ļø

Can see the glow in the sky from here, looks big. Somewhere out past White Tor I should think. There will be a lot more big fires like this if they stop us swaling and let the moor become over grown with no fire breaks.
At least it is a good time of year, vegetation may be dry but the ground will be wet under it, not like in June or July when the ground can be dry as well and the fire can get into the peat.
Just waiting for all the conservationists to start shouting what an environmental disaster. It will recover stronger than ever within 2 years.

The vegetation loading on the moors around here is huge in places,
Is it the same where these fires are?

Maybe @egbert knows something?

Can just see a glow from here. A different one not Oke or Plymouth, but in between.

I wouldn't want to be too close down wind of it tonight.

Saying that Puts me in mind of the older generations talking about seeing Exeter and Plymouth burning in the distance during the War.
