Isuzu Road Tax Increase

Renewal came today for an 18 plate Isuzu pick up with a 1900 cc engine I think it has.
Nearly fell over when it is now £1006.60 for 12 months.
Can this really be right?

Raised this under an other thread but pickup tax rates etc but think that was for vehicle tax treatment when new possibly.
But on this note my mate has ac29nplate 1.9 izuzu the same as this and his had doubled to around £300 mark think but not prices you quoted.

Just realised that I had 3 tax forms and in lambing fog had folded them over and the £1006 was for our lorry!!
Quietly gong mad, must be the shock of having some sunshine!!
