How are people finding the reliability of 4000 fastrac’s? Most you see for sale are around the 3000hr mark and is that around the area where warranty finishes? Do people swap before the warranty runs out as they are afraid to run them out of warranty?
Mines on 3700 hrs, reliability hasn't been good but it seems to have settled itself down now. Warranty until 5000 hrs, and it'll be gone by then, make a point of not running my frontline tractor out of warranty. I'll be having another

Not sure if this has already been said, but the weight distribution is amazing.
When spreading wheat a few weeks ago I had 2,400 kg in the hopper and the front didn't even think about lifting. I then realised I had forgotten to put the 600kg front weight on that I normally would.
John Deere 7530 would have felt very light on the front with 1150kg front weight.
I now have 2.

I'm hoping that the latest ones are capable of 5000 hrs at least :nailbiting: .

As with anything the first of them give bother always good idea to give it a few years before jumping on the band wagon ;)
Are the t5 ones coming out this year going to be much different? Apart from engine emissions BS.

As above from what I can see heavier axles and hubs . I've had several demos since they came out and from a driver's point of view that's all I noticed. Things that really need looking at are the air con it was very poor . The front wiper which might be better now and the radio reception was terrible last one I had last year I spread fert for a day and couldn't get owt to listen to the JD isn't an issue on that farm . Turning circle was disappointing for 4ws but you get different lengths of stops instead of being adjustable now

I've seen a heap of folk on Facebook posting pics of it not clearing a bit right in front you but yes brilliant other than that.

I think it might be fixed now as I was going on a damp crappy day and I can't remember it being an issue.

I'll find out soon enough tho .

Can you run these in crab steer so you're running separate tracks back and front with each tyre
We were told , running in parallel track would not work with a mounted machine as it is not pulling square behind the tractor , this was one a zerion by a guy along the road from you that has ran a few ok with trailed kit but no good with mounted things

So we're spreading muck tomorrow, first work our 4220 had done that isn't really just trailering.

Which gearbox mode would be best when spreading?

Only got 4 buttons so guess, steering on one revs on another, and the for floor and door just on the spools?

Been on muck with mine all week.

Low range this is new for me having to change a range!!!

D to get to and from muck midden
Change to M to get PTO going highlight the rev hold setting then select the green button to get to target speed and revs for spreading and don't forget to have the hand throttle set as well .

It's all a lot of faff compared to a JD for me but it's comfy . For a good job .
