JD 750a and Fendt 724 (Profi Plus 2015) compatability...

We are hiring a Fendt 724 (year 2015) to use on our JD 750a drill for spring drilling.
Wandering if anybody has this set up and if they have any tips for what compatibility issues (hardware and software) there might be. I think the hydraulic pump flow rate is 115l/min with 4 closed spools...
Thanks

We have it...but has not been used yet. Best ask Clive.

Actually ours will be pulled by a 930 as the 724 lives on the sprayer. Overkill, but not worth changing tractor just for that.

If the 724 is ISO (should be) and the 750a is also an ISO optioned drill then it's plug and play software wise

Hardware only addition over standard we have is a free flow return for drill fan

Shouldn't this be in machinery or direct drilling?
No prob with 750 ISO connecting with 60 reg 415 or 716 so can't think there would be a prob with new700 series. It's actually much user friendly if drill has own screen so I bought little KV Match Go? Which works beautifully.

Clive, I assume yours runs through the X30? Do you use section control?

yes using section control, they way its set up the operator can chose which screen he wants which windows open on so have some on fendt profi and some on x30, steering, x2 cameras and drill on ISO but separate boxes for fert tank and stocks wizard - they could have been ISO as well but considerable extra cost for no real advantage other than getting rid of 2 boxes

And does your section control do the whole 6m, or can it deal with the two halves seperately?

I think it only does the 6m but I've not used it since fitted so would have to check with a real tractor driver !

it's quite notable how much smaller overlaps are this autumn as I think default for any drill driver working manually is to be sure they have more than covered any ground !

Could you send me a pic of your timing setting for the shutoff please?

Hi Clive. Just wondering if you still have the photos of drill shut off times.

On Thursday 26th September, we’re holding a webinar for farmers to go through the guidance, actions and detail for the expanded Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) offer. This was planned for end of May, but had to be delayed due to the general election. We apologise about that.

Farming and Countryside Programme Director, Janet Hughes will be joined by policy leads working on SFI, and colleagues from the Rural Payment Agency and Catchment Sensitive Farming.

This webinar will be...
