Came across this forum while trying to find parts to repair the left side front planetary of my 2003 John Deere 3400 telehandler. I have had no luck here in the states.
Any sources for spares in the UK would be appreciated.
Had my daughter searching while she was back on the farm. Think she said there were two variations?
I can check back with her. She is now in New Zealand.
Thanks!

its probably a ZF on a 3200 or 3400, but they did also use Dana Spicer.

Its impossible to diganose this type of fault, it will be either rams, selector valve or steering orbital unit. There is no way of knowing, its just a parts cannon type of job and the logical thing to start with is the ram seals.
I had the ram seals re done by a different place ...she is now spot on the 1st repair was only a botch effort which is a pity because it was done by a reputable place I had a good reliable past with
