Same in reverse or just forwards
didn’t try see if it was slipping in reverse but the bite in the clutch isn’t as sharp as it used to be. if pulling off on a hill from stop position there is a small delay after clutch is let out before take off

Now Then..
How many hours has it done, what sort of work & has it been serviced??...
12000 hours . mostly mowing / baling and road work , it worked on a tillage farm before I bought it 4 years ago . I changed back end oil and filter 2000 hours ago and it was spotless coming out.

Is this a Powrquad tractor with the reverser on the right hand side console?? Is it just slipping in forward, or reverse too. If it is a Powrquad, are 1,2,3,&4 working correctly??
FYI, Transmission oil filter change interval in 1500 hours, with both filters to be changed every 750 hours

Fwd and Reverse lever on right hand side. 1234 working fine. when tractor is working hard and hot it is slipping in a high gear and low rev also if stopped at a junction it won’t go forward or back after a long drive but ok when cold

Tractor tech will advise but will need to get pressure gauge on to check as a first step? Do you get the trans pressure light on dash coming on at all ??

Install pressure gauges. Drive the tractor in all gears and ranges. System pressure should be more than 11.4 bar
Lube pressure should be above .7 bar (10psi) @ 1000 revs
