I have recently bought a John Deere Gator 855d 2012 it has never been registered before but I want to Tax it for the road but I am struggling to get this done. I have Vin numbers etc but they are asking for the Certificate of Conformity and the TAN numbers which I cannot get for this vehicle. Can someone point me in the right direction please.

Now Then..
Have you been on to your dealer for assistance??
There are certain criteria to meet for a road going machine. Headlights and indicators to name a few..

Take no notice fella....
Some say they're expensive to run, repairs and the like. Search on here if you like, there's all sorts of threads relating to Gators and competitive machines. Some folk love them,,,,,, and some folk,,,,,,,,,, let's just say, don't!!

Im sure dealer has to email john deere with your machine details to get the certificate
JD - They may charge £50-£100 for the information
Other manufacturers, like Yamaha do
If it was a JD main dealer, you bought it from… they may sort it for you FOC
Once you have the official JD letters - you will need to fill out a V55 form and send it all to DVLA together with a cheque for £55 to register it
