John Deere tech question

We have a 2010 JD 6330 premium, 3300 hours, owned from new.
Transmission oils changed as spec, every 1500 hrs.
The clutch engagement can be "sharp" to say the least.
It is not possible to use the shuttle lever because the changes in direction are brutal.
The clutch has been calibrated multiple times over the years but no improvement.
Is my tech guy missing something obvious?

It may be related....the PTO engagement, even at tickover, is also severe (breaking shear pins on the topper).

Any ideas...

Check the springs in the clutch cooling valve, check the O-rings on the clutch control valve. If they all look ok it may need a new clutch control valve but they usually last to around 6-7k hours unless it’s a loader tractor.
If the oil is always dirty or smells burn when your changing it chances are the clutch’s are on the way out.

Pto probably needs calibrating.
