£5,200 for an FM-750 on Rangepoint RTX with EZ-Steer, giving what, 95%+ of the benefits of the £13k system.
Is that fitted? I thought it was supposed to be coming down in price, not upAs title, just had a GPS quote for my tractor, Electric wheel and GFX 750 screen, NAV 900 controller and Centre Point RTX for £13k.
Can I do better and if so where ?
When I had centrepoint years ago I was told rangepoint and centrepoint were the same level while using them, the difference was the drift, rangepoint you’d go and have lunch and it would have moved, centrepoint you come back in a year and it wouldn’t have drifted, I might be wrongWho's that from ?
Accuracy ?

You can buy an all-constellation (GPS/GLONASS/Galileo/BeiDou/QZSS) triple frequency (L1/L2/L5) fully self-contained RTK receiver that could easily be used as a portable base, for around twice the price of an annual RTK sub.Be cheaper just going full rtk. Its much cheaper subscription. You aren't tied to trimble.
Not sure about my 2050 screen, but my FM 750 with internal rtk radio cannot pick up my neighbours signal .You can buy an all-constellation (GPS/GLONASS/Galileo/BeiDou/QZSS) triple frequency (L1/L2/L5) fully self-contained RTK receiver that could easily be used as a portable base, for around twice the price of an annual RTK sub.
Not sure why you’d bother with a sub any longer, as you paid for the receiver with just one sub before year 2 is out.
The world has moved on....

As per your previous thread I would strongly recommend you avoid an L1 only based system, like the FieldBee now you can get several L1/L2/L5 receivers, such as an RS2 for similar moneyFieldbee system as priced a fortnight ago... in Euros, but as we are nearly at parity, consider them Pounds now... :-(

This needs a second Base unit for autosteer sub-10cm accuracy

You will have infinitely faster convergence and far longer baseline capability.
