Kramer oil pipes

Is it just me that is having trouble with the oil pipes on 30.5 & 30.8 Kramer loaders bursting just in front of the windscreen ,where the boom pivots. Burst two already & only five months old

Not just you,we have had 5 different pipes burst, some at the top of the boom, and a couple elsewhere .
The dealer has replaced the pipes FOC,and has spares on the shelf in expectation of more going.
Seems to be a known fault and is covered by warranty.I have asked if they are going to replace all the pipes, but have had no reply.
Will seriously consider changing for another when the warranty runs out as it is otherwise a great machine, though will be interesting to see what we are offered for the trade in as it will be relatively low on hours-prob about 1800.

The machines we,re having problems with are the smaller 4 wheel steer centre boom models . Dealers mmechanic said they had changed thousands of these pipes & are waiting for Kramer to bring out a modification

Both third service pipes been replaced, burst just in front of cab where they flex .30.8 model only 9 mth old.Next time they are to replace we intend to put a joint in so only the short bit that flexes is easier to change

We have bitten the bullet and traded in our kramer for a new one and another 3 years warranty .
The new one hasn't arrived yet but we decided to trade in before prices went even further up.
It is integral to operations here and reliability is worth the extra expense
Not entirely satisfactory since they have not got to the bottom of the problem yet,but we will have another 3 years warranty and at least some peace of mind.

Ours is an 18 plate 3200 hour machine, so entirely forgivable that a hose goes. However we only bought it last year and this is the first hose to go, I remember seeing this thread before and thought I'd check how you both got on. The burst is on the tilt ram pipe at the joint at the headstock end of the boom.

We luckily only had one burst boom pipe in 4000 hours on our 9000 hour 418 machine. So fingers crossed this will go similarly.

Many thanks.
