Anyone running a kuhn magant 602 with narrow tines? Thoughts/experience with one would be gladly received. Thinking of ordering one for next year after yet another wet autumn. They seem a lot better price than a sabre tine and don't look as heavy. Generally drilling in to cultivated heavy ish clay ground winter and spring cropping.
TIA.

@BenAdamsAgri has just taken delivery of his. He has a Youtube channel too. It is NOT a direct drill, though is/was eligible for the FETF grant. That should be fine for worked land.

I have an older version with the normal wider tines.

As @Brisel said we have just picked one up last week. Much lighter than the weaving with less heavy duty frame. We have drilled into lightly disced stuff perfectly fine but it will not drill into concrete.

It is simple and easy, works as a good pairing with out avatar. See below

Kuhn must have changed there tune as I have a direct communication from them back in spring saying the megant wouldn’t qualify for the grant.

Shame as I liked the drill although it’s not that strong looking in the frame.

We ended up buying a narrow point KV TS.

Why ask Kuhn? Ask the party who’s running the grant scheme

It’s stronger than the old one, but not solid

Any experience of planting beams with it? Get them deep enough? Do they block easy as the pipe outlets look quite small.
When can I apply for the grant? If its open again next year can I get the grant if I've already bought one recently?
