Lifting a tank

600kg isn't too heavy. It send it into the room on a platform then jack it up on 4 x pallets one pallet at a time, adding pallets to get the height. Then when slightly over the gantry, slide sideways on some beams to guide it into place.
All the lifting will need to be from underneath

could you park an empty forklift here and then put the load onto the forks with a second machine like a teleporter? Then it’s a straight lift and go forwards.

Need to double check if there is plenty width. Tank is 6 ft so need a shortarsed forklift less than 6 ft from rear to back of forks Getting it straight in is easy Push in on a couple of hand pallet forks.

Get a Moffett Mounty or similar, not only do they have a short distance from the boom to the rear, but can also push the boom forwards to put the tank nearly all the way onto the gantry without moving. To get the tank in the shed to start with have the Mounty at the front end and a pallet truck at the back end. Once it is inside the shed the Mounty with its pivoting rear wheel will be able to move round to the side no problem

An electric stacker truck is what you need as used in pallet warehouses. The one we have is good for 1200kg to 4m, is 1.2 wide by 2m long and pedestrian operated so there should be no issue with lack of space.

Hire this, £30 per week.

Place it in crate store facing east/west, send tank in with handler and place over the forks. Straight movement in, with some overhang going above original cold room.

Anchor tank to stanchions with ratchet straps, and use them to slide off the forks and into place.

That looks the solution to the lack of space, or a scissor lift trailer would be good if we can find one
Thanks again for all the the ideas
