Log burner trouble

New build house. Had to have HETAS certificate to get building regs signed off.

Few of the new builds here had chimneys built but no log burners installed ,developer put the register plate in but didnt drill it out for a flue pipe ,just sat an electric fire in the grate ,,all signed of and then couple of months later ,came back to fit log burners ,less paperwork
