Hello,

My wife and I are from the Guildford area have taken up this new hobby for our health and wellbeing.

We are new to metal detecting and, as individuals, we are looking for private land owners (fields or large gardens that are not new builds) in the Surrey/Hampshire/Sussex area to give us permission to metal detect on their land. We would respect all boundaries given and any finds holes would be backfilled to their original state.

I am an member of the NCMD (National Council for Metal Detecting) with public liability insurance of up to £10M. Any finds would be disclosed to the land owner in the first instance and would be happily split. Any major finds would be reported to the correct authorities.

Please note that we cannot detect on public land as this is against the law.

Thank you for your consideration.

Paul
