Thank you,

Yes, appreciate it will be worth more than standard grass.

No analysis- trying to gauge a value so we can set up an agreement with a neighbour who will hopefully grow it for us.

Neither- Suffolk!
Keep meaning to change my location.... 🤣

Was it made last year?
We find a high degree of waste with Lucerne as often the stalks puncture the wrap.
I would want to have a good look at it. It is good feed but no better than well made grass silage from high sugar grass.

Not made - havent begun the agreement as yet

If we had a summer like the last in the south and a continuous drought it makes great Haylage. You need to mow it and not move it until you come to bale it to keep the leaf. In hot countries we used to bale it at night with the dew on it so as not to lose the leaves.

made right it's good but have seen grass just as good to be fair
need to use thicker wrap and more layers. same as whole crop balage
needs to be a bit dryer to get sugars up in it hence why we grew grass with ours made it better for silage making
pure stands for very good hay tho
