Recheck that pin. When they get hot it melts a little bit of the plastic over the pin so you need to scrap the pin with a knife or some sandpaper etc.

Transmission fuse if F8 off the top of my head so look at that.

Front right hand corner of cab from out side, find the transmission ECU and see if something chewed the wires off the plug, rats like to sit there and do that😂
Tried all that and all wires appear intact around the plugs, still no joy so called the dealer out:(. Fellow spent 2 hours looking but hasn't found the problem ,I sent him off to do his homework before he comes back:X3:!! You dont fancy a holiday to the North of Scotland do you ACEngineering??:ROFLMAO:

Test for power at the top pin in plug H, see if power is coming out of the board.

Yes, power at the top pin on plug H. wasnt sure where that goes from there next....?!

I assume it goes to the ECU and or lever?

I first had trouble with that plug H on a 2004 machine I bought. Instead of fixing the plug they had teed a new power feed in to the lever😆

If yours is a later machine then will have f/r on joystick so slightly different.

Original starter on our 630-120 packed in so it had a shiny new iskra. Sometimes when starting it just gets a single click from the solenoid, sometimes starts first time. Could go days with no problem, could do it straight after turning off and trying to restart, might need twenty turns of the key. All connections seem clean and tight. Any likely places to look before going to the trouble of taking the motor back out? Key switch worn and not enough contact maybe?

haven't done it but just thinking that a 12v bulb between the battery+ and the lucar connector on the solenoid would give an indication of working margin. If it pulls in ok I'd look back towards the key switch for the problem. If it just clicks then maybe the motor/solenoid needs looking at.

Key switches do give that problem, normally if you turn to start it will go past the start position so if you jut nudge the key back a little they will start. have also had iskra solenoids not work when hot for some reason but fine when cold not that common though:X3:

your boom SLI warning light is nothing to do with starting, make sure your N is lit up on the gear display and i think it should change colour when in drive? check the relays and fuses, MLA 627 had the pile of crap lucas starters on them.

follow the green wires:ROFLMAO: :X3: i think your wiring will be all green with number stamped on them so chase the numbers from one end to the other. 2007 i on the change from colour coded wires to all green and numbered. Next to the brake fluid pot maybe the transmission disconnect module if the powershift had it? check the plug on that.

This one seems worse when it's warm. Out of warranty now☹️
