Massey 390 2wd Loader

I am looking for help and advice on fitting a loader to a Massey 390 2wd. I have attached a photo of a quicke q710 loader in mind that I could buy but it has US style brackets that came off a 290 with extensions to the back axle. I am wondering would this fit? I would like to go with US type bracket loader whether it’s Rossmore Trima Quicke Tanco or whatever. I just want advice on whether brackets from other Massey series will fit? Thanks.

Doubt brackets will fit, and it's not safe / legal to modify mounting brackets from different models of tractors. Even brackets from a 4wd could be different to a 2wd. You need to find correct fit. It will be very hard to get them on that age of tractor. Sorry to be a downer.

Quicke brackets are fairly simple and MF Coventry tractors are also pretty much dimensionally standard in that power class from one generation to another. The 2wd may need some slight adaption to the subframe at the front bolster but any competent engineer or mechanic, farmer, should be able to make it fit. It is worth a go in my opinion as I’m sure you are enterprising enough to make it work, whatever it takes.

If you have all the measurements or the component parts are accessible then measure it up or have an engineer/mechanic measure it for you to confirm fitment.

Thanks for your replies. I am after finding a possible loader but now I have another question. It is a Massey 815 loader with brackets off a 95 390 2wd but mine is an 89 2wd. I have photos of the mounting points near the front axle attached. Would they be interchangeable or is there a big difference? Thanks.
