Massey 7618 2013. Tractor is using adblue at around double the rate of usual. It has quite an easy life, sprayer etc but noticed the change when it was working harder. Anyone experienced this? Is there a cheap/easy fix before looking at a delete? Thanks.

Sounds like it needs some work. My 7618 add blue will just about last 3 tanks of fuel.
7620 threw an add blue wobbler, cheapest fix was a delete

Has it had the dealer to it recently and maybe had an engine software update ? , my 7720s has gone from 3 tanks of red to 1 tank adblue , to matching each other tank for tank since an update . No codes , no running problems and they can't put old software back on

Our NH sips adblue right up until the 4m combi goes on it, then it’s like Oliver reed in a brewery cant get 2 fills of diesel to one fill of adblue when drilling

No surprise really- the Iveco / Cummins motors are tuned akin to a tier 2, plenty of fuelling, fairly high static compression for a modern engine, ideal timing, and plenty of heat in the combustion chamber- for a good burn and good performance -, and no external EGR to drop combustion temps compromising efficiency.

Upshot of that is plenty of NOx when working hard so needs more adblu than some.

The DPF sorts out the small amount soot, and since the exhaust is pretty hot for an emissions engine, they don't need to do static regens, as its all done passively

What a great post the manufacturer will love you when they read your beloved dealer is having tractors remapped & the blue taken off them , other dealers have been sacked for doing this
Don't know what world you live in but near all dealers in this part of the world have a re-mappjng fix available for customers, sometimes in house, or a member of staff that can sort it "after 5pm" unofficially. Sometimes they work with a local independent remappers.
Everybody knows about it but a blind eye is turned to keep deniability and happy customers come back and buy again.
Manufacturers know dammed well what's going on, and they choose to ignore it mostly.

White agri services or Trevor Holliday

They're who most of the dealers employ for Adblue deletes and remaps around central and Southern Scotland, regardless of whether or not they admit it to the manufacturers
