Massey Ferguson 3095 windscreen

Hi all,

The front windscreen is broken and needs replacing but there seems to be a selection. We have measure the opening as attached. I have spoken to supplier and its been narrow down to two that are 5mm difference in size, which one though?

Also has anyone done this before? Whats the trick? There is always a trick to getting this kind of job done without swearing at your father...

Many thanks
JD

Get a plant/agri glass fitterist to supply and fit...They break it fitting it,they replace it...
Its not that simple. The bottom two panels have this silly hand applied seal and the edge /frame needs some tlc.... I dread think how much they would charge to fit all the panels...

Has to be a difference in weatherstripping or something to make up that 5mm difference. No way they changed the whole cab frame for it. My guess is that either will fit in the cab, just have to check some part numbers to be sure....

AGCO parts books shows the following....

#3385240M4 6mm thick used to S/N 50129
#3619177M1 5mm thick used after S/N 50130

There is a different gasket/weatherstripping depending on the thickness of the glass.

No mention unfortunately about outside dimensions.

Windscreen surely insurance claim. Shouldn't go against no claims because its glass. Cab glazing does them all round here spends time preping frame to remove scabby bits etc
