If all is right you shouldn't be able to turn the shaft with the stilsons and the gear jammed as you have it. Are you having trouble with the 4wd slipping?
what was the old o rings like, were they damaged or flat sided
Try parking it with the bonnet facing up hill, see if that keeps them up o made a header tank for my master cylinders that has sorted the problem but I do allways try leave the nose uphill at night
Il see if I can take some but I basically replaced the block under the bonnet with a piece of 50mm box section made into a tankAny pictures I was thinking it would be worth get a seal repair kit
You seen that nice 8170 in classic tractorIl see if I can take some but I basically replaced the block under the bonnet with a piece of 50mm box section made into a tank

Is yours closed centre hydraulics?Only seen you message now sorry for not getting back to you. That make a lot of sense I’m having two problems with my 8110 the brakes going and the trailer brake is constantly pumping I took the valve out and checked it but couldn’t find anything wrong.

Could you swop one from a tractor the same, sorry if that is insulting you slightly.Would a valve seal kit sort the problem or is it a whole new valve block
