Which Massey Ferguson shuttle is the least troublesome?

Manual shuttle or Electric Power shuttle?

I have the opportunity to purchase two almost identical tractors, one has a Manual 12x12 the other a 24 Power Shuttle, thoughts and advice please...

Iv 2 with manual shuttle and never any problems. Wouldnt buy a powershuttle as they had a bad name back when they were popular round here in the 42/43 series tractors

Is the problem with the power shuttle not something about where the lube pump is drove from. If 1 to 4 gear lever Is in neutral and the shuttle in fwd say then the plates in the unit aren't cooled. More operator than tractor fault.

I would rather Manuel but rhw power is nice

I would have the powershuttle, in fact I do have one and very good it is too
I take it the 12 x 12 doesn't have speedshift ? which again is well worth having
