Ive used it on linseed.
It’s the last year you can use it as it has lost its approval. In UK it needs to have been used up / disposed of before 17 September. It will definitely leave a hole in linseed weed control.

Edit. The last sales should have been before the 17/3/21.

2nd Edit. Should also have said welcome to the forum.

i bought mine from marketplace.farm did it kill weeks or just stop them before they developed, as we have a problem in our garlic field with matted moss type weed and it would take forever to do it by hand as this is the first year we have used this field and encounter this type of weed. any advise much appreciated.

Sorry, I have no experience of it on that type of weed either. Could you put a photo of it up? My gut feeling is Maya wouldn't be that strong on it but I could be wrong. Have you tried calling the NuFarm technical support?

another picture to show the extent , we did take our eye off the ball our fault heath reasons and family member diagnosed cancer and took up all out time going over back to hospital the garlic was not on our minds, and planted in august and only visited the land last month, normally you can plant and just leave for months but didnt expect the weeds to be like this just expect common ones

You have had a tough time tough time. I really have no experience of that weed so I can't help. If you get some close up photos most likely someone else on the forum will have some experience. Do you know what the weed is actually called?

he showed it to a professor of horticultural and he didn't even know , my hubby now thinking we should have mulched it with straw to begin with so might have stopped all the weeds in the first place, we were in such a hurry to get the 9000 bulbs in the ground we didn't think about it all too much. would it be too late to put straw on it now do you think

also you said the last day that it was allowed to be sold was the 17th march we actually bought it on the 30th march so did they sell it illegally and if we want to return and they refuse where do you think we stand. As you can tell we are such newbies at all this its taken us 5 years to get to this stage and don't want to mess it up now . thanks for your help and advise

Here’s a copy of the withdrawal notice. If I were you I would take it up privately with the supplier and see what they say. I just looked and it is still listed and shows in stock on Market Place so someone had made a mistake. There is no other notice on the pesticides.gov.uk I can see that would alter the withdrawal. @Chris F? @Clive? Can you help?

Please may you take a close up picture of the weed you want to control? What I can make out on the photos you've posted so far suggests a grass of some kind.
sorry its not so clear I'm doing screen shot from the video we took to compare before and after Maya, I will see if I want get a better one if not today in the next few days

could it be marestail?
No idea think I might need to get expert in to check it out as its mossy with grass the moss is easy to move but the grass could become a problem with the weather getting better. its all mixed in together. see attached pictures don't know if they would help you can see the part that we didn't cultivate that's what it will look like if we don't do anything and it will starve the garlic

unfortunately no chemical application will control that, maya will do nothing, only option is hoe i'm afraid
I was worried someone was going to say that, I tried to do it by hand and was impossible. Any chance putting straw on it now is too late has that option passed now.
