Is there not the same interest in classic/vintage stuff in usa/canadaBe interesting to see. Could buy them all day long over here for under £15k no matter how nice they are.
I would say not. You'll see the JD stuff command really good money but other than that there doesn't seem to be a big interest in anything else. A lot of the american IH stuff has a big following but I haven't seen any crazy prices being paid for tractors. Is there not the same interest in classic/vintage stuff in usa/canada
Need to import a few !!!!!Be interesting to see. Could buy them all day long over here for under £15k no matter how nice they are.

There would be money to be made at it I'm sure.
Here's a pretty tidy 2725, bit high on the hours at 8800, but good rubber at least, looks to be in original condition. £8600 asking. I actually wouldn't mind having this one myself I think she'd clean up well.
Thats right, the ELC was a little tricky to work out. Dont remember selling many as I only remember working on 2725's. Dont think we ever sold a 2645 or a 2685.
Do know how fix them as I am on either project and it's not workingI did the 2005 update course fairly early on and remember the instructor (Barry Mc) struggling to get his head around it. In normal operation the LEDs were green for up red or down, someone noticed that when using ext it was the other way round?
Sorry mate the easy answer would be no. It's years since I worked on one and my books are in another country. Its worth knowing that most faults turned out to be simple bad connections often with the fuse holders or the relays. One behind the dash panel and maybe one under the ELC switches.Do know how fix them as I am on either project and it's not working
Were abouts are you at ?Be interesting to see. Could buy them all day long over here for under £15k no matter how nice they are.

I would hate to travel up to yours spend all day and not get it working then expect to be paid.
East coast of Canada, Nova Scotia specifically but you'll find more of those tractors in Ontario and Quebec than where I am. Most of what I have has come out of Ontario or Quebec. Were abouts are you at ?
Do most of them in canada & the states not have power shift gearbox & not the 16 speed box fitted in Europe ?I would say not. As far as this series of Massey goes. They sold the 2640 here along with the American built 2000 series tractors. But later changed the Beauvais built models to 3500 series numbering. The 2645 would be a 3505, 2685 a 3525 and the 2725 would be a 3545. They did this to try and get away from the poor reputation the American built 2000 series tractors had earned. Sadly for Massey, over here they never really recovered from that reputation, those tractors almost ruined a lot of dealers, and customers lost confidence in the brand. When the 3500 series came out they still looked just like the older 2000 series and that association kind of stuck. Even now people aren't paying big money for them, $15-20k CAD here is about top of the market. I suspect even less in the US.
We were in Ontario last year on holiday & seen a few for sale , they were all a bit different to UK spec ones , most have plastic fuels tanks & a power shift gearboxEast coast of Canada, Nova Scotia specifically but you'll find more of those tractors in Ontario and Quebec than where I am.
