lol ,
have to agree , i can hear the festival from here , easier to watch it on tv these days , with a can of cider and widows open , at least i can use the loo and sleep at night . its a hard day trudging around down there with nowhere to sit down ,that silty mud x urine smell is quite unique to pilton , Must have seen that ginger busker half a dozen times , Was a great place to be in teh 80s when you could just walk through the hedge , its much too corporate these days ,

All true that even the walking through the hedge bit[emoji6]

Recon mlc or whatever they call themselves these days missed a good opportunity to sponsor one of the stalls with some sausage and burger / bacon tasting down there , good place to undermine the vegan message about the health benefits , when they are all a bit hungry and had a few drinks, far better than the county shows preaching to the converted

I watched him for a couple of minutes, what a dick. They call that rubbish music.
there seems a fascination with rap artists down there ,all a bit lefty luvvie , get down with the street kids, i think JZ headlined a few years ago ,and he was carp , yea , great on the other stage but not headline acts on the pyramid ,

No single use plastics sold on site, certainly not from food traders at least.

No bottled drinks sold everything is in cans even the water, all packaging so plates and cups etc. Has to be compostable.
Obviously the public can still bring in plastic but all the rubbish on site is sorted and recycled if it can be.
Most of that second picture is cans or paper cups and plates.

Not perfect but a lot better than it used to be.
