Newby to mixer wagon.
I'm wanting to produce dry blends. Rolled cereal and beans with additional protein and minerals possibly with molasses.
A unit with high discharge height and good empty out ability to reduce residual product between blends.
It won't ever do forage based diets.
Single axle for manoeuvrability and possibly rear discharge beneficial.
Suggestions of brand and location would be good.
Used machine only.
Thanks S

Paddle machines are far better for mixing blends. Hi-spec, redrock will do but loads of old keenans about and they will be the cheapest.
Forget tubs.

Tub with central auger is the only way to go. Mind, stirring a load of straights is nothing like mixing forages. It will require a fair tractor to do it.

You might want a mixer with a conveyor on the front and a door at the back so you can reverse it into bays and discharge it right out.

Cereals and beans rolled beforehand?

I have an old keenan here mainly for daily feeding but will mix dry blends aswell, I find it leaves around 70 to 80 kg behind before getting in to sweep out. Unloading in a heap is also inconvenient and I would imagine a tub feeder with a back door would be much better

I found the 3 auger machine like a Farmhand best for mixing concentrates , Star made one as well , Keenan was pretty useless , they don't mix front to back, they don't empty clean either
