Movement records for tack sheep

Wonder if the livestock guys can advise me...

Neighbour wants to walk his sheep through from next door to clean up our silage aftermaths (block of land is away from our farmyard).

Next month we are getting dairy heifers on b+b into our sheds for winter. We'll be a linked holding to the dairy unit.

Do I need to do anything about movement records for the sheep? Sheep will still belong to my neighbour.

Thanks.

You ‘should’ set up similar for the sheep, or move the whole lot on and off your holding (triggering a standstill when they do).

Sheep are buggers to keep in though and might well get out from next door.

its very easy for your grazier to set up a temporary land association for what ever length of time you need , takes 10 mins online , just need field nos or an ordinance survey no for centre of field , wont effect anything that happens elsewhere on farm .
How do you do a TLA online? I currently fill in a TLA form and email which is pretty straightforward but always looking for an easier way of doing things.

I don’t know that can do it on line. I just do the paper copy and post it. Got 120 fields on mine atm, most days that the moment I get a letter through the post for me re do the tla for each bloke of land.

If the sheep are being walked onto your field and it’s away from your buildings, then there’s no need to do any paperwork etc. K.I.S.S
