My combine

Looking to upgrade our7272 combine always had Massey seem to get on well with them. Looking for one about 5 years old 25 foot cut. Any recommendations as I would like to stick with them as I feel better the devil you know and have a good service team. Thanks in advance.

Maybe like Discovery 4 owners, people who have actually run them, rather than just read about them on the Internet, quite like them....
On second thoughts, the three Massey 7000 series I can think of locally were soon up the road for something else.

Depends on what you are used to, maybe a little repair every few days and quite a lot of work pre season is good, but let me tell you from experience you can go all harvest with just fueling and one full grease up and a couple of knife sections.

That’s all I’ve done with the 7272 apart from not having to change a knife section.

I went took look at a couple of 7200 combines when was looking to change from 1085 most had metal fatigue unless they had been meticulous looked often then looked and a couple of 2200 Deere’s they was the same then looked at a nh tx68 in case colours could believe how much more steal was in them so brought it even tho it needed some work doing I think if it had been a mf or Deere it would have been scrap
