Need some grass seed

Not sure where to post this. Our new road is nearing completion and we have a lot of exposed earth with new banking, ditches and so forth. We need anything that comes up quick and I don't want brassica in it. The temperature here is still in the high teens/ low 20's so I think the soil would be warm enough for something to germinate.

I've had a look at seed catalogs and there seems to be a huge variety of grass, amenity, bird and bee seed, etc etc mixes. All advice appreciated!

if production is not too important look for a bird, bumble mix that will give food and colour all year round.

Westerwolds is fast and cheap but no use there as is Italian
