I used to get that in hay with 120x70 often enough, he asked about Alfalfa which is hay of sorts

Actually matches the density of hay: 250 kg/m3. So a bale of 120 x 70 x 240 would be around 500 Kg.

A 36x46x90 small rectangle bale weighs around 30 Kg, which yields a density of 215 kg/m3. Hence, considering a similar compression a 120 x 70 x 240 = 2 m3, would weigh around 430.

Fair enough. Having reread the question he’s asking about 8’ bales we generally only did 6’ hay. The old Quadrant 1200 didn’t like being pushed after over 100000 bales and you’d have been lucky to keep our Vicon going long enough to find out
